Our Worship

The Sacrament of Lord's Supper is celebrated as part of Sunday morning worship the first Sunday of each month, Easter and Christmas Eve. The Sacrament of Baptism is administered to anyone desiring to make an affirmation of faith in Jesus Christ and to children of baptized believers.

“Passing of the peace” during the service allows you to offer the peace of Christ to all in the congregation. Congregants rise and move about the sanctuary offering a hand shake and saying “Peace be with you”.

Presbyterian Christians center their faith on God. God relates to us personally in three awe inspiring ways.  God as Father is the creator of all things; God as Son is the loving redeemer of all; God as Holy Spirit is the One who strengthens us until Jesus returns..
We affirm the Bible to be God's word.  It teaches us of God's love in the person of Jesus Christ.  The Bible is our source of knowledge about the power and mighty acts of God.
We subscribe to historic creeds, doctrinal statements and confessions.  We celebrate two sacraments: Baptism and Lord's Supper.  We place value in ceremonies such as confirmation, ordination and marriage.  We value worship, prayer, bible study, fellowship and service to people outside the congregation.
We are people of different ages, backgrounds, vocations, abilities, interests and needs.  Yet we believe ourselves to be one family, called into being and united to each other by God through Jesus Christ.
To be born is to be a child of God.  To Be Baptized is to find my hand in the hand extended to me at birth.  TO DECIDE TO FOLLOW CHRIST is to set my direction for life and healing.
